Spice up your life! |
45-47 Castle Street Cambridge CB3 0AH United Kingdom +44 1223 36 3666 |
The Cambridge Curry Center has been around since the 60s. The restaurant has two sections—the main room and a party room downstairs. The former provides a cosy atmosphere, while the latter is ideal for large parties. If you're a curry fan, you'll love it here. Meat-eaters and vegetarians are both well catered to and in addition to the usual fare, there's a myriad of sundries and a selection of English meals. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Eat in or take out! |

Chopsticks can get somewhat cramped, so it's definitely not the place to head for if you mind prying eyes. Having said that, the restaurant does offer good food and service, and if you don't fancy having a sit-down meal then you can always opt for the takeaway option. Chopsticks provides good value for money Chinese food in a simple setting. Bringing your own drink also means that you can enjoy a full meal for a little over £5, which certainly isn't bad at all. The set menus are also a good investment, particularly if you are out with a group of friends and fancy trying a variety of tasty dishes. Review © 2007, Wcities |

The Maharajah is often considered the best of the three curry houses on Castle Street. The restaurant's decor is a cut above the rest and its food is delicious. All the usual suspects are here: tandoori, korma, balti, rogan josh, madras and vindaloo (all with vegetarian versions). For those of you who fancy a starter, or a side dish, there's plenty of choice too: bhaji, a myriad of naans, chapati, poppadums and much more to whet your appetite. Review © 2007, Wcities |

You can find this restaurant in a most unassuming place - it is right on the street corner of a busy junction on Chesterton Road. Indeed the restaurant is small, but the ambience is wonderful - candlelit tables are arranged exquisitely and every detail is covered from the bread to the napkins. You can order from the fixed price menu which changes on a regular basis. Review © 2007, Wcities |
