Chopsticks can get somewhat cramped, so it's definitely not the place to head for if you mind prying eyes. Having said that, the restaurant does offer good food and service, and if you don't fancy having a sit-down meal then you can always opt for the takeaway option. Chopsticks provides good value for money Chinese food in a simple setting. Bringing your own drink also means that you can enjoy a full meal for a little over £5, which certainly isn't bad at all. The set menus are also a good investment, particularly if you are out with a group of friends and fancy trying a variety of tasty dishes.

The menu sports a varied range of noodle treats: soup-based, wok-fried, or smothered in sauce. There are plenty of vegetarian, meat and seafood dishes as well, and the servings are extremely generous! Ho Yo Min (king prawn), a wok fried dish of oyster sauce, prawns and vegetables, makes an absolutely delicious main course. And do try one of the fresh fruit or vegetable juices, green tea or the Japanese beer.

Their menu is incredibly extensive, with everything from barbecue spare ribs, prawn crackers, crab meat and sweetcorn soup, sweet and sour chicken Cantonese-style, king prawn curry, roast duck chop suey, chicken with green peppers in black bean sauce, beef with satay, shrimp foo yung, chow mein dishes and pineapple fritters in syrup. There are also reasonably priced set dinners for one to three or more people. Delivery is free on all orders within five miles of central Cambridge, while a delivery charge is made on deliveries over five miles away.

The chef is always very happy to cater for particular dietary requirements.
