Little Tea Room

Teas while you read
1 All Saints Passage

United Kingdom

Located in the heart of Cambridge, The Little Tea Room is close to the historic St John's College, an ideal setting for an English tea. This must be among the most relaxing places in Cambridge – you can really enjoy your tea in peace here. Indeed, for religious peace, you could do no better than to explore Amana Books, on the first floor which stocks all major translations of the Bible and other Christian literature. Traditional cream teas are served as well as a wide range of teatime favorites and an all-day breakfast. There's also an impressive lunch menu and a scrumptious range of home-made cakes.

Orchard

Tea gardens to the Bloomsbury Set

Three miles south of Cambridge city centre, in Grantchester Village, is the famous Orchard Tea Garden. When the weather is dry, where better to sit than in the low-slung deck chairs on the grass, shaded by apple trees? Wasps aside, nothing interrupts the laziness of the place. The Pavilion has indoor seating with photographs on the wall evoking the spirit of the past. Morning coffees, afternoon teas and lunches are all served here. Sandwiches and cakes on the service counter prove difficult to resist.
