Founded in 410 by Saint Honorat, this monastery is currently inhabited by a community of 30 Cistercian monks who observe the rules of Saint Benoît. There are seven other chapels around the island, some of which date back to the Middle Ages. You can also visit a museum (ancient archaeology, paintings, historical information on the monastery), a church, and an old fortified monastery.
