Chattanooga's first mayor built this home over a century ago and the stately Victorian structure kept watch over the beautiful downtown Fortwood district for years after the Honorable Mr. Hilborne passed away. However, over the years, the home fell into disrepair. It was being used as offices by an advertising agency when Patty Adams purchased the mansion and restored it to its former glory. Today, the first floor houses a beautiful parlor and elegant sitting room. A ballroom and library are perfect for banquets and conferences, not to mention wedding receptions. Luxurious guest rooms occupy the top three floors. The regal presidential suite has had the distinction of providing rest to many Hollywood stars and high-ranking government officials.
