This is a greasy spoon in the nicest sense. The space can be cramped, but the price is right. The diner's burger special with fries is a deal at $3, and the fish strips come in portions of plenty. The menu is vast and deep-fried, with the BBQ rib tips topping the dinner plate at $4.75. There is bar and booth-seating toward the back, vibrant with that old-style Chicago-diner feel.
