This antique store harkens back to a simpler era. Not only is the store filled with old tables, chairs, kitchenware and knickknacks, but it is staffed primarily by good natured women whose demeanors remind you of June Cleaver from the 1950s era "Leave it to Beaver" television show. When it comes time to make your purchase, you won't be greeted by a high-tech computer as cash register, but will find a register that is itself an antique. But even this is a "high tech" gadget, relative to the coin box the manager used for the first two years the store was open. Review © 2009, Wcities |
