This family-owned restaurant west of downtown has charm and integrity. Come hungry - the pasta portions are unbelievable; you can ask for a half order and still have food for the next few days. Bella Notte serves everything from Chicken Vesuvio to Zuppa de Pesce over Capellini. It has a charming, old-world feel with a wonderful mix of clientele and more than a hint of old Chicago when Al Capone was in charge. No Italian restaurant would be complete without a respectable wine list, and Bella Notte is no exception.
