Inventive Chinese |

Chef Tony Cheung has quite possibly created the most interesting Chinese-restaurant menu in the city. The interior is tranquilly minimalist in tone, a far contrast to the dishes you can consume. For an appetizer, try the Steamed Shrimp Dumplings with Honey Soy Dipping Sauce or the Japanese Eggplant and Portabella Mushrooms in a crisp Wonton Wrapper. Main dishes include a variety of "Soongs," which is a filling of your choice served with Crispy Rice Noodles and drizzled with Plum Sauce. Other dishes include Salmon rubbed with Five Spices and Black Peppered Sea Scallops (a signature dish). A nice selection of rice dishes is also on the menu, along with an extensive beer list and an exotic range of mixed drinks. An average meal costs $26. Review © 2009, Wcities |
