As hard as it tries not to be one of the pretentious Wicker Park bars, this place really cannot help but feel extremely cool about itself. Abounding with middle class posturing, the joint is a wannabe pick-up place, with all the fixings except for actual pick-ups. In addition to the main bar area, patrons can relax in one of the lounge chairs in the TV room. The bar is worth a visit for the food, such as black bean crusted chicken strips and standard burgers and salads, and the exceptional juke box. Review © 2009, Wcities |
