Not quite like the famous New York club it is named after, but this is still a fine jazz club in its own right. White walls, a gleaming grand piano, tuxedoed servers, silver mirrors - this is a class act with classy acts. Art Porter and Cassandra Wilson are just two of the big names who often perform here. The back room is a separate club unto itself that offers disco dancing, and, on Monday nights, the open microphone draws in a large and boisterous crowd. Admission is $10. Review © 2009, Wcities |
