The place may be part of a strip-mall, but for fresh, French/Mediterranean cooking at reasonable prices, you cannot go wrong with this long-time Lake Zurich bistro. Appetizers start at $5, entrees at $12. The three-course prix fixe menu is also a good deal at $24. Specialties include goat cheese tarts, duck liver mousse, rock shrimp ravioli, ostrich medallions, baby rack of lamb and creme brulee. Adventurous diners might be tempted to try the stingray.
