Originally McClure Chapel for the McCormick Theological Seminary, it was converted in 1978 into a concert hall with great acoustics and seating arrangement. Located in the DePaul University campus, the venue serves as a concert hall for performances by the students as well as the faculty. DePaul has its very own classical vocal ensemble called Chicago a cappella—a group of nine singers that are soloists as well as team players. Performances include music, vocal jazz, and spiritual from the 9th century to the 21st century.
