The trick to hearing a good echo is to keep it short and sweet. That seems to be the case with this restaurant too. The menu offers small eats meant to be sampled and ordered with several other dishes. The samples are eclectic and include food served both hot and cold. Highlights include a Seared Beef Salad served cold with cellophane noodles and topped with a horseradish vinaigrette sauce. The Grilled Ostrich served with black-eyed peas is one of the more intriguing hot eats. The décor, much like the food, is eclectic. The concrete tables stand over gray hardwood floors, with walls painted a dusty blue. An aluminum bar and a cramped tent area used for additional seating add to the mix. Review © 2009, Wcities |
