This very tidy Rogers Park café is an ideal hangout for Loyola and Northwestern students who get tanked on coffee and study. Its proximity to a chess club next door also makes it an ideal location for chess fiends looking for a good match. The live bands featured on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights are always free, but small donations are actively and strongly encouraged. There are pastries, scones, sandwiches, eggs, espresso and desserts, all ranging from 85 cents to $4 for the highest priced menu items.
