This cultural center was founded in 1905, and has been serving the Mexican-American community ever since. With several youth oriented programs available, including performances, workshops and exhibitions, the focus is on preserving Mexican traditions such as Day of the Dead. Murals on the outside of the building include work by Ray Patlan, Salvador Vega, Aurelio Diaz and Marcos Raya. The center also features performance and outsider art. Review © 2007, Wcities |
