The Annual Windy City Luau is a fund raising event for the Foundation Fighting Blindness. This one day event is held on a cruise ship that sails along the River Chicago, moving to Lake Michigan. The annual fireworks display before the dawn of 4th of July at the lake is a big attraction for people from home and abroad. While on board, you can treat yourself to drinks and snacks. The biggest sporting events take place at the RCA Dome, which is home to the Indianapolis Colts. The venue was opened in 1984 with a a turf of artificial grass and the capacity to seat around 60,000 people. It is attached to the Indiana Convention Center, and is managed by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers (CIB), a body brought into existence by the Indiana General Assembly in 1965.
