Avant-garde arts fair |
1600 N Damen Avenue Milwaukee, Damen and North Avenue triangle Chicago, IL 60647 United States +1 773 342 6777 (Organisers) http://www.aroundthecoyote.org/ info@aroundthecoyote.org |
The popularity of this arts festival has exploded in recent years because the Wicker Park neighborhood itself, at one time an artist's Bohemia, has been gentrified. Taking its name from the building at the corner of Milwaukee, Damen and North Avenues that resembles a howling canine, the festival focuses on a diverse variety of arts and artists. Many types of painting and art are on display, as well as fashion design, film, poetry and dance. Review © 2007, Wcities |
