Housed in a historic landmark mansion, this turn-of-the-century museum summarizes 4,000 years of surgical history with four floors of exhibits arranged by country and discipline. Galleries emphasize radiology, orthopedics, apothecary and many other medical fields. Collections include more than 7,000 surgery-related artifacts and artwork that highlights the history of surgery. A reading station and microscope corner is available for hands-on learning. Medical professionals are invited to view science and research collections by appointment.
