This suburban center was added to the University campus more than 20 years ago as a performance and activity space for such events as lectures, concerts, fine arts and a host of other cultural events. Now, regularly staged events include piano recitals, speakers, plays and performances by the Chicago Sinfonietta, attended by students, faculty and nearby residents.
