This is a tiny bar with a tinier dance floor that tries to combine the intimacy of a neighborhood pub with the boom-boom volume of a nightclub. You can crowd onto the dance floor if you have a death wish. Better, hang back in the smoky bar, choose your cigar and pick from an exhaustive menu of martinis and olives (the blue cheese olive is really good). As far as trendy cigar and martini places go, this is one of the friendliest in the city, but it can get kind of noisy, so do not expect to discuss the latest film while sipping your overpriced drink. There is a $5 cover on Tuesdays for "Club Night" as well as a $3 cover on Fridays and Saturdays. Review © 2009, Wcities |
