In continuous business since 1935, this restaurant/bar has long been a Loop favorite, although it seems its location changes every now and then. Come more for the atmosphere than for the food and libations. While you can't go wrong with the barbecue ribs and the seasonal fish selections, the food leaves something to be desired, as does the beer and wine selection. But, the crusty Chicago atmosphere is the real thing, so take a moment to peruse the celebrity photos all along the walls. It can be crowded during theater season. Review © 2009, Wcities |
