Owner Lee Johnson knows his music. So much so that you can come in, hum a few bars of a tune, and he will identify it. It is no surprise that this store is the West Side headquarters for gospel music from Mahalia Jackson to the Sounds of Blackness. Prices range from $3 to $13. Be sure to stop in for tickets to the city's gospel events.
