As the old real estate adage goes, the most important thing is location, location, location. Perhaps this is why this small beach attracts large crowds. Its proximity to Navy Pier, hotels and the posh Lake Point Towers keeps it a popular summer spot. The beach is also popular with triathletes looking to train for the aquatic portion of the race. Beware—the beach does not have bathrooms or a field house.
