Described as the "counter point" of its sister restaurant Moto, Otom is indeed refreshingly different. Once inside, the atmosphere is cozy and cheerful, with a low light lounge/bar area decorated in grays and oranges, and a formal, white linen dining area. Rather than serving the high-tech avant-garde cuisine found at Moto (you won't be able to eat the menu, or have your food cooked by liquid nitrogen), Otom offers American upscale comfort food at affordable prices. Salmon Ceviche with Lime, Chili, Cucumber & Wonton Chips, Braised Lamb Shank with White Bean Cassoulet, and Beef Short Rib Ravioli with Shallot and Sage Goat Cheese are just some of the hearty fare you will find at Otom. Lounge open late. Located on W Fulton Market, between N Sangamon and N Morgan Streets. Review © 2009, Wcities |
