Director Peter Bartlow has been an art dealer since 1972, when he launched his first gallery in Columbus, Ohio. He closed the Columbus shop to open this Chicago gallery. A past exhibit displayed the oils, watercolors and drawings of Colombian artist Willy Ramos. Featuring flowers alongside cityscapes, the exhibit contrasted a colorful flair and a moody, hard edge. Ramos's Adler Planetarium a pencil-on-paper drawing is another notable work. The drawing, bursting with thick lines and structural elements, is a deeply Impressionistic, joyful reflection of a Chicago landmark.
