Where real die-hard blues fans go |
3420 West Armitage Avenue Chicago, IL 60647 +1 773 342 0452 http://www.rosaslounge.com/ |
Chicago is well known as home to many blues greats, and, as a result, plenty of decent blues bars feature respectable music and good bands catering to tourists. But musicians who play at these tourist clubs, they go to Rosa's when they really want to hear the good stuff. A nondescript tavern room located four-five miles from Old Town and Lincoln Park, Rosa's offers the unbeatable combination of great music and cheap drinks. Although the crowd here is friendly, any musician who gets up to play at Rosa's knows that he or she better bring some serious chops to the table, because bad music simply isn't tolerated here. Coming to Rosa's is sure to soothe your soul. Review © 2009, Wcities |
