Drop by SoPo during the warm weather months when its garage door is open to the night air and its tables run up against the sidewalk on Southport Avenue. The back regions of the red-walled lounge and grill includes spacious, horseshoe-shaped booths, low-level lighting and a cozy brick-walled dance area where DJs spin after 9pm. On weekends the nightspot is packed from the bar to the door with the trendy young denizens of the Lakeview/Wrigleyville area. Five-dollar martinis are a Friday night special, and appetizers and light entrees are served daily.
