Only in Chicago. That's right. You saw it here first - vegetarian soul food, served in this restaurant run by the African Hebrew Israelite community. Yes, such an institution does exist. Just how do you take the meat out of soul food without taking out the soul? Well, get on down to the South Side and proudly order a BBQ Roast or BBQ Twist. If that does not tickle your fancy, try the spaghetti with battered tofu or the 'Garvey' burger, which is made from wheat gluten (better than it sounds).
