Rising high above Wacker Drive, this triangular hotel, built entirely of concrete and glass, has much contemporary appeal. However, inside the modern structure, guests will find European ambience. Each of the 632 rooms, renovated in 1997, has a marble bathroom, a separate tub and shower, and panoramic views of the city. The staff prides itself on 'Swiss pampering'. The hotel is only two blocks from the Magnificent Mile. Have a unique breakfast at Konditorei, a Swedish bakery, and do not miss the lobster at The Palm Restaurant.
