The Flying Saucer has some of the best, most adventurously gourmet diner food of the diner style restaurants in Chicago. It is at once vegan/vegetarian friendly, offering locally grown foods, a venue for great breakfast meats, and wholly unpretentious. It's location in the Humboldt Park area makes The Flying Saucer a somewhat removed, yet worthwhile stop for anyone looking for friendly atmosphere and amazingly eclectic salads or omelets.
