The River North area of Chicago was a warehouse district at one time, but is now the trendy spot to live and play in town, and Thyme is a most visible sign of that. Chef John Bubala has created a menu with Spanish, Italian and French influences, while Sam Cardona has designed a dramatic space. Appetizers include Grilled Portobello Mushrooms with Polenta and Opal Basil. Entrees include such interesting fare as Spit Roasted Rabbit Mille Feuille with Asparagus, Leeks and Sherry Jus.
