Whoever said that University of Chicago students don't know how to enjoy themselves has never been to the Ida Noyes basement. Seven-dollar Miller Lite and Sapporo pitchers abound (along with 21 tap beers, over 100 bottled beers, and various wines), students gather round oak tables to unwind. More active bargoers enjoy pool and foosball tables, and the jukebox offers a good mix of classic rock and '80s music. For University of Chicago students, a small annual membership fee ($5) gets free entry.
