This fun-filled festival is held each February in the beautiful surrounds of North Hagley Park, showcasing the tastes and flavours from throughout the Canterbury Region and accompanied by the music of accomplished local artists. All the high profile vineyards are represented, including Pegasus Bay and Waipara Springs from the valleys in the north, and established vineyards like St Helena from central Canterbury. The food styles are infinitely varied and are supplied by prominent local cafes, hotels and small ethnic food-stall operators, as well as regional food producers such as Akaroa Salmon.
