Off the beaten track but well worth visiting, Every Educaid has two large rooms full of toys, books, games and puzzles. It is a teachers' resource centre that is also open to parents and has a great selection of larger toys such as the Little Tikes range with cars, kitchens, etc. It has ample parking, a play area for children and a nappy change station for babies. Hobdays have been at Edgeware village for 42 years. Like other Toyworld outlets they sell popular toys like Barbie dolls, water guns and whatever the current fad is, as well as stocking New Zealand icons like the Buzzy Bee. They also have dress-ups, in-line skates, scooters, and a large variety of "kitset" and die-cast models. They sell cycles from 12-inch size to adult, BMX and mountain bikes, and all accessories.
