Store Kongensgade, the expensive shopping street by Kongens Nytorv, is home to a small shop with fine jewellery, A Dragsted, named after its 1854 founder. The shop is now run by the fifth generation of Dragsteds and specialises in pearls and jewels, found on rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets. The pearls are from various places: Japan, Australia, Tahiti and China. The precious stones they use include a large selection of rubies, emeralds, sapphires, lapis and opals. Ann Wiberg is a Danish fashion designer who has lent her name to her own shops in Copenhagen. One of them is situated just by Nikolaj Udstillingsbygning. All of the clothes in the shop are designed by Ann herself and manufactured in a sewing factory in Paris. The shop gets new deliveries in from France at least every other month. There is a very broad selection of clothes, ranging from ordinary, everyday trousers to classy dresses for near-royal purposes. The prices are reasonable, considering the fine quality of the designs. Ann Wiberg uses her imagination and often brings new, extraordinary ideas to life in her clothes. In May and November the collections are displayed to the public at a fashion show. Havnebussen is an alternative to the yellow public buses, which often run late on the busy streets of Copenhagen. The harbour is not heavy with traffic, and because of that a route has been created that crosses down through Copenhagen Harbour, from shore to shore. Havnebussen is comfortable and the sights from it are often fantastic. It shouldn't be used as tourist transport at very busy times, though, as it functions as a means of transport for a lot of busy Copenhagen commuters. Louise Grønlykke's specialty is silver jewellery covered with 24-carat gold, as pure gold would be too heavy to wear comfortably. This is combined with precious stones.
