Hvidovre Hospital is a general and local hospital, for the inhabitants of the area. The buildings are low and white, with roof terraces. It is a rather large hospital, with 850 beds and 11 births a day in average. Hvidovre is a suburb of Copenhagen west of the inner city, and the hospital is part of the Society of Hospitals of the Metropolitan Area. Hvidovre Hospital has an emergency ward.
