Owner/chef Bartolino Cocuzza's Amici restaurant has been serving North Dallas with class for several years. The upstairs space is intimate and comfortable with attractively draped windows and a rustic wood floor. Amici doesn't offer wine, so feel free to bring a nice bottle. There is a $4.50 corkage fee. Special dishes include Rack of Lamb, Pork Tenderloin with garlic-Dijon mustard sauce, John Dory (a mild, delicate fish) and Grilled Venison. Desserts include decadent Tiramisu with brandy and coffee, Almond Basket (a lacy cookie holding strawberry slices in mascarpone cheese), and heavenly White-Chocolate Bread Pudding.
