This establishment's energetic menu is inspired by chef Masa Nagahima, a native of Fukuoka, Japan. With more than 25 years of experience, his creations are an intricate mix of new and old traditions. Traditional Japanese decor surrounds comfortable tables and the ambience is one of fun and festive adventure;as though you are in a Japanese family's home. Traditional Japanese favorites, such as sushi, sashimi and miso soup are staples here. Other selections range from chicken teriyaki to soba noodle dishes. A unique dining option is to cook a one-pot meal at your table called "nabe," which offers an array of thinly sliced meats and vegetables. Lunch specials are a bargain find.
