A Day Of Bugs! |
Liberty Park Corner of East Wall and Main Street Dallas, TX 76051 +1 817 410 3185 |
This annual parade and after-party celebrates the yearly migration of the Monarch Butterflies from Canada to Mexico. Families are invited to join in on the festivities by dressing up in their best butterfly-related garb and marching down main street with the parade. The march ends at the Historic Cotton Belt Railroad District where the fun and games continue into the afternoon. You can watch breeders release their butterflies into the skies, participate in bug-related arts and crafts and enjoy the various exhibits and displays. This event is fun for the whole family, so get your bug legs on and get there before it flies away for another year! Review © 2009, Wcities |
