Owner Eddie Lawand prides himself on the fact that the Grand Café is named after a legendary restaurant in Beirut. It specializes in Philadelphia-style and Lebanese cooking. Special Middle Eastern dishes include the Philly Chicken Sandwich, Lemony Tabbouleh Salad with cracked bulgur wheat, and Shish Tawook sandwich (pita with juicy chunks of grilled chicken, onion, tomato and parsley). Classic burgers and cheese steak are offered for those who want something more American. Turkish coffee or mint-flavored Lebanese hot tea is available when it's not too busy. No alcohol is allowed.
