Lakewood Landing is more upscale than they care to admit. Everyone in town knows the babe behind the bar. Lucille, working on her 31st year at the Landing, is more legendary than the mermaid mural on the side of the building. Tables and a few booths provide a place to munch on burgers or kick back for a beer or two. A jukebox with hits from the 1970s to the 1990s provides entertainment when live venues aren't scheduled. If billiards is your hobby, you're sure to find a game here. Typical bar menu with burgers, nachos and fried everything. The telltale sign this is not any old hole-in-the-wall is the veggie burger on the menu. The chicken-fried steak is wonderful for those not counting calories. Review © 2009, Wcities |
