Owned and operated by well-known Texas chef Matt Martinez Jr., this Lakewood area restaurant is one of the best Tex-Mex spots in the metroplex. If you fail to reserve a table, you can count on a long wait - this place is packed from open to close. The laid-back style of this restaurant is typical for this Lakewood neighborhood, where the focus is on fine cuisine rather than appearances. Rancho Martinez has a great patio where you can dine and enjoy a breath of fresh air. Martinez is famous for The Bob Armstrong appetizer: a unique combination of cheese, guacamole and ground beef.
