A popular lunch spot, Po Melvin's dishes up excellent Louisiana Cajun home cooking at reasonable prices. Don't look too hard in the oversized aquarium for the "invisible fish" as the sign suggests, they tend to be difficult to see. Set your sights on the unusually spicy Roast Beef or an exceptional Hand-Breaded Chicken Fried Steak dinner. Jalapeno cornbread, a favorite, is moist and spicy and has chunks of corn mixed throughout. No alcohol is served. Po Melvin's is close to DFW Airport and local hotels.
