Sweet Temptations Bakery is a casual but elegant café run by a husband and wife team-both pros at the art of fine baking. The service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is homey and comfortable. Foods are moderately priced for such gourmet fare. A strong neighborhood following combines with the epicurean allure brings upscale diners some of the best food found in the city. House made specials include an excellent range of desserts and entrees. A great lunch combination is Spinach Quiche with Green Salad or Southwestern Bean Soup. For dessert, try the Lake Highland Rock Cake, rocks of chocolate meringue attached to pieces of ganache, or Bread Pudding in Kahlua cream sauce.
