For excellent home style Thai food in the Far North Dallas area, Thai Garden is one of the best. The décor is simple with white tablecloths and the servers are pleasant. Try starting with the Larb Gai, a chilled salad of cooked chicken with lime juice, fresh garlic, hot chillies and fresh mint. Entrees include Pla Lad Prik, a whole fried snapper with a chile and basil sauce; Roma Rong Song, a stir-fry mixtue of chicken, water spinach, carrots, and cabbage in a peanut sauce; and Prik King, stir-fried curried port with Asian green beans.
