http://www.curioustheatre.org/
The Acoma Theater, located in a renovated old church, is home to such local performing companies as the Hunger Artists Ensemble and the Horse Cart Theater Company. The productions have earned five awards from the Denver Drama Critics Circle. A regular event is Radio Theatre Live, a reader's theater program held monthly. The theater houses a U-shaped balcony and two-story stage. Some of the views from the seats are poor. The theater's great atmosphere, however, more than compensates for its physical limitations.

Theater in the Park is one of those free annual events that makes Denver so special in the summer. In 1989, the theater troop began holding performances in the Greek Amphitheater in Civic Center Park. This historic relic from Denver's early boom days had been standing empty since the 1950s until the productions revived the theater. The performances have ranged from children's shows to ballet. However, the theater group generally likes to stick with old favorites.
