One Big Fair |
9755 Henderson Road (Adam County Fairgrounds) Denver, CO 80601 United States +1 303 637 8000 http://www.adamscountyfair.com |
This fair claims to be the largest and most exciting county fair in Colorado, and with good reason. In the past, it has attracted top name performers such as Meg Tillis and Alan Jackson. There are also bucking broncos at the rodeos, livestock shows, the ever-popular 4-H events and booming tractor pulls. If you bring the kids, check out the children's pavilion which includes a petting zoo. A unique aspect of the county fair is the strong multicultural element to the festivities, including a Latino music festival and a Charro rodeo. Review © 2007, Wcities |

The Martin Luther King Marade is an event commemorating the contribution of the late Mayor. It is perhaps the largest in the US with over 30,000 participating in the march. The traditional torch is passed on before the event is held in Denver. The parade-cum-march is a stately way of honoring the great leader. Other related activities like talks, documentary screenings and speeches are part of the celebration. Review © 2007, Wcities |
