Every summer during the beginning of July, thousands of artisans from around the world gather along the streets of Cherry Creek North Shopping District to peddle their wares in what has become one of the largest and most prestigious art festivals in the nation. From decorative to modern art, from photography to painting, this outdoor event has a little of everything. Each year the congregation of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral holds a grand festival in which the Grecian members of the church plan the activities and prepare all of the food. You would have to travel to Greece to taste such delicious and authentic Greek food and desserts. In addition, there are authentic Greek dance shows performed by groups of children and adults.
