Choppers Sports Grill

A place for the sports crowd
80 South Madison Street
Denver, CO 80209
United States
+1 303 399 4448
http://www.chopperssportsgrill...
Named for the late Chopper Travaglani, a longtime trainer for the Denver Nuggets, this upscale sports bar attracts the 30- and 40-something crowds of Cherry Creek. The bar has a lot of televisions for sports watching. Darts, pool tables and video games are available. There is outdoor seating and a bar area available for lounging in the open air during the warm months. Try one of its excellent pizzas. The hand-rolled dough gives the pies a special taste. It also serves burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads.

Baseball is an essential part of the American culture and a vibrant component of Denver, all of which makes Coors Field such a hub of activity during the summer. It seats more than 50,000 and is regarded as one of most fan-friendly parks in the country. For a few dollars you can take a guided walking tour and learn about the history of the field while taking in all the sights, including the Colorado Rockies dugout and the visiting team's clubhouse.

Falling Rock Tap House

Sixty-nine beers on tap
1919 Blake St
Denver, CO 80202
United States
+1 303 293 8338
http://www.fallingrocktaphouse...
Set off the street in a dark nook, the Falling Rock Tap House's unassuming brick face is easy to miss in trendy, bar-heavy lower downtown. But this intimate, little tavern has a surprise behind its door: 69 beers on tap that range from Colorado microbrews to European imports. With so many choices, it is the closest thing to draught heaven. The food menu is secondary to the beer, but still offers a generous selection of salads, pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, burgers and tacos. Located just down the street from Coors Field makes it a perfect hangout for pre-game warm ups and post-game celebrations.

Rock Bottom Brewery

Delicious microbrews and hip crowd
1001 16th Street
(at Curtis)
Denver, CO 80202
United States
+1 303 534 7616
http://www.rockbottomrestauran...
Though a chain, this downtown mainstay has the feel of a homegrown brewery and restaurant that just so happens to be very large. The patio, one of its main attractions, is huge and abuts the 16th Street Mall making it ideal for people looking. It brews its own beer that feature curious names such as the Lumpy Dog Light Lager and Molly's Titanic Brown Ale. The menu, for brewery standards, is excellent and offers steaks, pastas and pizzas. Pool tables fill the back bar area.
